CTDC delivered a high-level training distinguished by its intellectual depth and rigorous methodological approach. It was grounded in a context-aware socio-social analysis that clearly linked colonial histories to their wide-ranging impacts on social, political, and economic structures in our societies. What truly set this training apart was its non-traditional research approach, which relied on careful, context-sensitive anthropological methods of data collection that gave the field its authentic voice and moved away from predefined or generic frameworks. The data analysis and research findings emerged directly from lived realities, reflecting people’s real experiences and lending the outputs a high degree of credibility, as well as significant analytical and practical value.
